Well here we are again. January 2022 and still no meetings to report

There obviously was no possibility of planning a show for March this year but we are hoping the June show will not have to be abandoned. Decisions about the main show in August have now been taken. The decision has been taken to go ahead with the August Show. In addition we are definitely expecting to arrange some meetings later this year.

The Dates for the two shows are

Rose and Sweet Pea   25 June

Summer Show            20 August

We will be asking for members to assist in the set up and running of the shows. Some committee members are less physically able than they used to be and we definitely need extra "muscle" to help with the shows

The Horticultural Society is still here and as soon as we are all confident that it is safe we will begin activities again. Until then please enjoy your gardens, stay safe, and prepare for future happier times later this year.

Summer Show Saturday 17th August 2019

As every year there was an outstanding display of fruit and vegetables and a great turn-out of visitors again this year . This is our biggest and most popular show, but newcomers often are surprised how easy it is to win a prize
